We are delighted to share that, from 1st April, Buxton Infant School and Buxton Junior School officially joined the Embark family, growing our community to 27 schools.
This marks a significant and exciting milestone for our Trust. As we continue to grow, we remain firmly committed to doing so with purpose, ensuring that every school that joins Embark is part of a strong, values driven partnership focused on improving outcomes and life chances for all young people.
Buxton Infant School brings a nurturing, child centred approach, with a strong emphasis on early development, inclusion and creating a positive start to each child’s educational journey. Buxton Junior School complements this with a clear commitment to enabling young people to achieve their full potential, fostering independence, resilience and a love of learning within a supportive and ambitious environment. Together, they represent a powerful continuation of education within their local community.
Their ethos and approach closely align with Embark’s core values of Family, Integrity, Teamwork and Success, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting young people, staff and communities.
Our Strategic Plan places great importance on building strong partnerships across our schools, enabling leaders and staff to share expertise, learn from one another and drive continuous improvement. The addition of Buxton Infant School and Buxton Junior School further strengthens this network, creating even greater opportunities for collaboration, innovation and impact across the Trust.
As a family of 27 schools, we are proud to be developing a community where every school retains its unique identity, whilst benefiting from collective support, challenge and shared ambition. This balance is at the heart of what makes Embark strong, a Trust where people feel connected, valued and empowered to succeed.
We are incredibly excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working alongside young people, staff and families from both schools. Together, we will continue to build on existing strengths, support one another and ensure that every young person across our Trust can thrive.
