Interested in Joining Us?

We welcome contact from schools that are interested in joining us. In fact, that is how we have established our trust, through conversations. We have never approached a school or tried to sell our trust or force ourselves upon anyone. As a trust we are only interested in schools that really want to work with us and shares our values. All of our schools have joined based on a set of shared core beliefs.

How does the process work?

In the first instance we would be happy to come and have an informal discussion about how our trust operates and what this means for our schools. If you would then like further information or to arrange a more formal meeting, then we would be happy to do so.

Each approach will be discussed and considered by our trustees. If they feel there is a possibility to join our trust at this stage a due diligence on each school is undertaken. Throughout the whole process there is a chance for the school and trust to gauge whether this is a relationship that could work and a good fit.

If all parties agree that the correct outcome is for the school to join the trust, then a full consultation period will begin including all stakeholders. The trust will spend a day in school for a consultation day and meet parents, governors and staff.

Finally, the school will apply for an Academy order once governors have made a final decision. The trust will support schools throughout each stage.
